TEACHING PRACTICE WEEK 4 -(25 JULY-29 JULY)

The fourth week of teaching practice was also filled with handful of experiences.
School experiences
In this week,Thursday was holiday due to karkidakavaavu.
I reached the school by 9.30am and left by 4pm on all other days.
There was assembly on Monday and Wednesday.
On Wednesday, in addition to usual programs,there was a speech in commemoration of Dr.A PJ Abdul Kalam.
Also, students prepared posters on him.
Also, a sub district level quiz was conducted in relation with constitution.Students of SNV bagged first position.
I also engaged with my friends in food distribution.On Friday, there was iron tablet distribution also.
During the sargavela this week( last period of Friday), I spend time with 8E students.

Teaching experience
I conducted test for 8C,8E and 9D this week.For 8C,achievement test on ' Motion' was conducted on tuesday.Out of 36, only 30 students were present.Adithya Sunil scored 24.5 out of 25 and bagged the first position.
On Friday, test for 8E and 9D was conducted for unit motion and chemical bonding respectively.In 8E, Malavika J S bagged first position with 24.5 marks out of 25.
In 9D, test was for 15 marks.5 students scored 14 marks and shared the first position.
For 8C,I got only one class on Monday in which I completed the unit ' Motion'.
For 8G, I got 4 periods.I completed the unit' Motion' and started new unit 'Force'.
For 8E,I got 3 periods in which I completed the unit motion.
For 9D, I got no class😟.I could only conduct test this week.
I have assigned students to create posters on road safety related to unit 'Motion'.Most of students had submitted it on Friday and I am really happy at that.😊

Teaching Practice Phase 2- Week 5 (1 August -5 August) ‘I would teach how science works as much as I would teach what science knows.’ –Neil deGrasse Tyson School experiences 2 days- Tuesday and Wednesday were holidays as collector had declared holiday due to heavy rains.So,there were only 3 working days this week. There was no special programmes this week. On Friday,both Viji teacher and Praveen sir came for observation. There was no assembly this week. During Sargavela this week, I spent time with 8E along with Archanadevi. There was iron tablet distribution this week on Friday. For 8C, I got only 2 periods this week.I started the unit Force and taught up to contact and non contact forces. TEACHING PRACTICE PHASE 2  WEEK 3   ( 18 JULY - 22 JULY)  ‘The job of an educator is to teach students to see vitality in themselves.’ –Joseph Campbell School experiences I reached the school by about 9.30 am on am days and left school by 4pm on almost all days. There was no morning assembly this week.Climate was bad on monday and Friday. I couldn't engage much in food distribution this week due to my poor health condition.😔 Besides, On Wednesday,KSU has announced an educational strike owing to issue regarding NEET exam in Adoor.So we were allowed to leave campus by 11am. On Thursday,there was poster making in association with Moon day. On Friday, general body PTA meeting was conducted.Eventhough we were permitted to leave by noon, we remained up to 3.30 in school premises. TEACHING PRACTICE PHASE 2- WEEK 6 (8 AUGUST -12 AUGUST) ‘The best teachers are the ones that change their minds.’ –Terry Heick This week marked second last week of teaching practice. School experiences A few D.El Ed Students of Chempakaserry Training Institute was there in school this week as a part of induction programme. Though Monday was calender holiday,it was postponed to Tuesday.So Monday was a working day. On Monday,SPC cadets along with school manager Saajan sir went to Snehasramam,Velamaanoor.Students shared their experience with us.They were very sad after hearing the worries of people there. On August 10,there was quiz competition in connection with Hiroshima And Nagasaki day.Also,various literary competition were conducted in connection with Premchand day.
